Occitanie, October 20th — In honor of French artist Valgidrà's birthday, a remix album of his acclaimed project Warplush Vol. 3 has been unveiled, featuring a wide range of artists, including CollabHaven’s very own Maeki Maii. The remix album brings together creative minds from across the music world to reimagine Valgidrà's atmospheric soundscapes.
Maeki Maii, whose original track Farniente (from the album French Riviera, produced by Wolf City) has been a hit among fans, offered a new take on Valgidrà’s ambient piece Quiet Boats. This remix beautifully blends the two works, with Maeki Maii’s serene vocals creating an ecstatic harmony that pairs perfectly with Valgidrà’s gentle, dreamlike composition.
"I was honored to be part of this project," says Maeki Maii. "When I started working on the remix of Quiet Boats, it felt like my track Farniente was made to blend with Valgidrà’s music. The result is something I’m incredibly proud of, and I hope listeners feel the same connection."
